Privacy Policy

GetMyHoro("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

Email address — only if you subscribe to our newsletter, including through the birth-chart tool. We use it to send you a welcome email and occasional updates, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Birth details — if you use our birth-chart tools, you provide a birth date, time and place to generate your chart. We use these solely to calculate your reading.

Usage analytics — we use Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are popular and improve the site. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart; Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies. This data is aggregated and not used to identify you.

Orders and donations — paid readings, reports and donations are processed by Stripe, so we never see your card number. The details you enter on an order form travel with the order so we can prepare it, and confirmations are emailed to you through Brevo.

Advertising

Google AdSense supplies the display ads on GetMyHoro; they are part of what keeps the daily horoscopes and chart tools free. Google sets cookies to place those ads and to measure them, and with personalisation switched on the ads can be matched to your browsing here and elsewhere on the web. Visitors from the EEA and the UK are shown Google's consent request before any personalised-ad cookie is stored, and may revise their answer later.

Readings are written for the sign, not for a sponsor: no horoscope, compatibility score or tarot meaning is changed for an advertiser, and none is shown to one before it goes live. Some pages also link to art prints, zodiac jewellery and books on Amazon as an affiliate, as our affiliate disclosure explains.

Google My Ad Center tells you why a particular ad appeared and lets you switch personalisation off; aboutads.info offers one opt-out covering interest-based ads from many networks. Google explains its advertising cookies on its ads policy page.

How we use your data

To provide and improve our service, send newsletters you opted into, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your personal data.

Third parties

We use trusted providers for email delivery, including contact-form messages (Brevo), payments (Stripe), hosting (Vercel), and analytics and advertising (Google). They process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, and unsubscribe from emails anytime. Contact us at hello@getmyhoro.com.
