How Virgo loves

Virgo loves by paying attention. You notice the thing that is bothering somebody three days before they mention it, and then you quietly do something about it. Affection from a Mercury-ruled Earth sign is practical: the appointment booked, the problem solved, the detail remembered. You will do enormous amounts of unglamorous work for someone and describe it as nothing.

You need to be told that you are enough as you are, by somebody you believe. The standard you hold yourself to is punishing, and a partner who piles on rather than counterbalances it will slowly grind you down.
